Beaulieu 4004 ZM4

Beaulieu is an out of this world camera for the 8 mm format. It has a 45 degree mirror that is used as its shutter (actually there are two more blades) that reflects 100% of the light to the eye, and 100% to the film. There is of course, a beamsplitter on the way for the CDS meter to drive the servo iris diaphragm. But it flickers like a professional 16 mm camera with interchangeable lenses. The slow motion speed went up to 80 frames per second on this last model (ZM4). The lens was C-mount so the release button had to be taken of before the lens could be taken off.
