Beha was a world renown cuckoo clock maker located next to the dark Forrest in Germany. This is probably built in early 1900's. Beha clocks were made from the woods cut from Dark Forrest. The pivot points in this clock are actual wood, and it's amazing ho it has lasted all these years without noticeable wear. I have seen many old brass clocks that the pivots are made of polished/hardened steel, and they have turned the drilled bores on the mech plate into oval. Not so with this type of wood they have used.

Left over of the clock's original housing, and face dial. Left, above, the pivot points in Beha watch run directly on wood, something one has to see to believe. The wood working on this clock is dead accurate.
