Coronado Sun Telescope

This is a 90 mm aperture telescope by Coronado to observe H-Alpha emission produced by excited Hydrogen. It's a mid range telescope for sun observations, and shows the granulations on the sun's surface, and prominences arching up into space. The sun is so bright that the finder in this telescope is made of a pinhole, and a ground glass on its rear end to help point the telescope to the right direction.

It's a thrilling experience to look at the sun. There are mobile apps that lets you view sun activities on your fingertips but there is nothing like the real experience, specially when watching it with children.
