Graflex

In its own way, Graflex is one of the most modern cameras of 20th century. Introduced in early 1900's, it offers all the modern features in Mamiya Rb-67, including its revolving back!

This was Hasselblad's first camera in his youth.

The fixed slit shutter of Graflex is shown here in a view from the back of the camera, and fully disassembled camera below. The belows mechanism, and interchangeable lenses gave this camera the versatility that victor Hasselblad grew up with, and later took it one step further in his own camera. The mirror in this camera is sequential: The shutter is released after the mirror reaches its up position. It takes 1/8 of a second for the mirror go up!
