The electrical kit consists of components needed to make an electromechanical door bell, an electric motor, galvo circuitry, and many experiments in electricity, and magnetism. The user manual explains each experiments in detail, and excellent graphics.
NOVA's optics kit is rather small but it offers good quality optical components, and a lamp housing with focusing provision. There are also candles and projection masks for optical rail experiments to study magnification, and image projection. There is no optical rail. It instead uses laboratory rods found in chemistry labs as the mounting base for the lamp, prism table, and lenses.
