Telescopes

Telescopes are among the most popular items in a museum. Basically, everyone likes to see the time line of advancement in Astronomy. Telescopes also play a good part in observational events on the playground of museums.  During the day, solar telescope is very popular, and during the nights, Saturn, Jupiter, and the moon are the popular objects to view in the skies. More sophisticated demonstrations are intended for adults like adaptive optics, and stellar spectroscopy. As an optical engineer, I find the development of doublet (Achromatic objective) in older telescopes very interesting.
